August 4 2010 - Co 8 was dispatched at 17:13 hours for a dwelling fire at 2974 Molly Pitcher Highway South. Units arrived on scene to find a 2 story single family dwelling with fire showing from side D. .JPG)

.JPG) .JPG) August 4 2010 - Co 8 and Co 3 were dispatched to 1104 Clayhill Road for a brush Fire at 14:44 hours. Brush 8 and Eng 8-1 responded along with Brush 3. Brush 8 arrived on scene to find the fire out. Brush 8 remained on scene with co 3 for a short period and returned in service at 15:25 hours. 
.JPG) .JPG) August 2 2010 - Co8 was dispatched at 11:42 hours to 5773 Colorado St. Ext. for a building fire. Assistant Chief Cummings arrived on scene advising heavy smoke from side C. Eng 8-1 responded and laid 1000 feet of 5 inch into the building from High Street. E/T 8 responded and supplied 8-1 from the hydrant. Several lines were placed into service off of 8-1. Fire was found to be mostly contained to the pellet and dust hoppers. Truck 1 was set up to flow master streams into the hoppers to extinguish the fire. After overhaul operations were complete Command 8 placed the box in service at 15:18 hours.
July 28th 2010 - Co8 was dispatched at 15:17 hours to Interstate 81 south bound for a motor vehicle crash with a truck overturned. Ambulance 8-9 arrived on scene to find a pick up truck with trailer and backhoe over turned. Upon arrival pts were out of the vehicle with not injuries. Co 8 and 3 secured the vehicle until the arrival of Dave's Truck repair. Interstate 81 south bound was closed for several hours due to the extensive damage to the roadway. Units cleared at 16:29 hours.
